The skin on your hands is one of the most sensitive parts of the body as it protects many nerves that give you the sense of touch. Soft and well manicured, they become hands of seduction. Know how to pamper them to keep them beautiful! Hydrate ! Your hands have few sebaceous glands which means that they need to be hydrated regularly. As soon as you feel your skin pulling, put some cream on. Even better, put some cream before going to bed and leave it to work all night. Audrey, our beauty therapist at L'OCCITANE SPA gives us her tip:

'I work with my hands all the time and need to keep them immaculate. I use a repairing cream a few times a week and wear cotton gloves, which allows the product to penetrate deeply into the skin. I wake up with beautifully soft hands! 'How to massage your hands? Massaging has a relaxing effect and allows cream to penetrate deeply. You can ask someone to help or do it yourself. Heat the cream in your hands. Massage the back of the hand with circular motions. Apply pressure all the way to the extremity of each finger. Then work on the palm of the hand with the same circular motions. Finish by pressing the whole hand. How to make your nail polish last? Before applying any polish, soften the cuticles, polish your nails and wash your hands with soap to remove any trace of grease that could prevent your nail polish from sticking properly. Do not use nail polish that has become sticky. If the bristles leave a trace on the varnish as you apply it, just bin it You can extend the life of your nail polish by keeping it in the fridge away from the heat and sunlight. Use an undercoat to prevent your nails from becoming yellow and then apply two coats of polish. Run your hands under the water when the polish is dry as this will quicken the hardening process. Finish with a top coat which will make your polish last longer.
