Cade Shaving Cream

DESCRIPTION

Enriched with purifying and invigorating organic juniper essential oil, protecting shea butter and moisturising vegetable-based glycerin, this shaving cream transforms into a creamy lather for an extra gentle shave that leaves skin clean and smooth.

ADVICE

Wet the face with hot water. Apply a nut-size amount of cream to the beard. Create a luxurious lather by massaging. With light pressure, shave in the direction of hair growth, thoroughly rinsing the razor in warm water between strokes. After shaving, rinse face and neck with cold water. Pat skin dry with a towel and apply Cade After Shave Balm.
Tip: For an extra-protective barrier between razor and skin, apply Cade Shaving Oil to beard in upward strokes before applying Cade Shaving Cream.

CADE

For hundreds of years, the oil of the cade – or prickly juniper – tree has been highly prized for its natural antimicrobial and moisturising properties. Shepherds of Haute Provence have used it for generations to protect their faces and hands against the elements of the Alpine foothills. In our collection, this lush oil is used to protect men from the more modern challenges of shaving and pollution. Cade is still grown in Haute-Provence today, crawling across the stony soil of the Mediterranean coast in scrubby woodland known as garrigue – a word borrowed by the French from the Provençal Occitan word garriga. During the summer the smoky, herbal smell of the plant hangs over the region's foothills, inviting hikers to stop, close their eyes and inhale. Our collection uses the finest oils from a small picking area near the charming village of La Chaffaut. Set amidst fields of vibrant lavender and sunflower, where the cypress trees sway in the breeze, our harvesters cut the cade wood into chips before pressing it, using traditional techniques to extract its precious oils. The cade wood used to distil our oils are certified organic, with the ECOCERT stamp of approval ensuring that no pesticides or chemicals interfere with the natural growth of this cone-shaped tree. • Excellent lather

Best shaving cream I have ever used. It lathers up beautifully in the shave bowl and lasts forever! Very economical product and good value for money.

  • The Best

For me, without any doubt this is the best shaving cream I have ever come across. I get a very smooth shave from it. It has a nice scent and being such a thick cream I find it lasts longer than other creams (which is just as well because it is quite expensive).

  • I have used all of the saving creams/oil/gel and soaps and have found them to be excellent. My preference is for the shaving soap which does the job it is supposed to do and is economical. Like a previous reviewer a travel size shaving cream/gel of around 50-75 ml would great. I could recommend all of the products in the range for men.
