Yes, the product turns into a lovely creamy foam, however the smell is very off putting! Also I found the cleanser very drying on my skin and I have a combination skin type so I was surprised this did not work for me. It’s a lovely texture, but I found it drying and not a pleasant smell.
Gentle on my skin, feels soft. Importantly a little goes a long way.
I guess I didn't clock from the packaging that this is for oily/combination skin, so this is a little drying for me. It looked like it was going to be super creamy and moisturising but it isn't and there is nothing about this that I find special.
The tube is really hard to manage. Once you've dispensed some of the product onto your hand or face sponge, you can't lay the tube down on the counter without putting the lid back on else it leaks out! The cream is a pleasant creamy texture, and changes to a lovely cleansing foam. I put this cream onto a damp facial sponge and gently massage it onto my face. It rinses off cleanly. Even my very sensitive skin is happy with this product. However, I really dislike the figgy scent, and can't smell honey at all. Stars docked for silly tube dispenser and unpleasant scent.
Let me just say that this is one of the best cream to-foam cleansers that I have ever used...Period!
I have Oily to Combination skin and I use to suffer with severe breakouts and blackheads. However, this cleanser along with the Peony Perfecting Cream has allowed my skin to gain a healthy and almost perfect completion and remain breakout free!
The feel and smell of this cleanser is just divine and it allows my skin to feel deep cleaned without making my skin feel tight as if all natural oil has been sucked out of my face.
Many of my friends have asked me what I am using and I’m sending them to L'Occitane.
