1.7 MILLION CHILDREN

Every year, since 2000, L'OCCITANE has sold a new fund-raising product. The profits** from this product are used to help combat blindness by making ophthalmological care more accessible to the poorest segments of the population.

Our Foundation frequently works with partners to help combat this disability and sustainably reduce the number of people affected.

To date, we have helped over five million people…and we're not stopping there!
Our new challenge is to help 10 million people to benefit from a quality eye care by 2020 -  "10by20" goal.

Let's make a difference together

LET'S MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

The fight against avoidable blindness is not over yet! There are still lots of vulnerable children we can help together.

Join us to help up to 1.7 million children* fight against avoidable blindness in 3 countries of the world!

*Targeted objective by L’OCCITANE and UNICEF between 2017 and 2019.

PREVENT RISK OF BLINDNESS FOR 1.7 MILLION CHILDREN

80% of visual impairments can be avoided or treated by ensuring a sufficient intake of vitamin A. In fact, vitamin A deficiency is one of the main causes of childhood blindness. One out of three children under the age of five is affected by vitamin A deficiency.

L’Occitane en Provence is determined to help improve the prevention of childhood blindness around the world, by supporting UNICEF’s vitamin A supplementation programs. Our action is focused on three countries, so that we can measure the impact of our commitment.
