CREATE A NATURAL MANICURE AT HOME
Manicurist, Georgia Rae spills her secrets for creating a long-lasting bare manicure at-home.
''My manicure and hand care routine for healthy nails and youthful skin using my staple products from the L’Occitane en Provence Shea Butter Collection.''
Routine Must-Haves
Step 1: Clip, File & Buff
On clean dry hands, using a cuticle tool or orange wood stick gently push back the cuticle. Without applying any pressure, focus on lifting the cuticle off the nail and sweeping away any dead skin. Then using a file, gently file the nails until you achieve your desired length and gently sweep the file down the side and around the corners to soften the shape.
Step 2: Exfoliate Hands
On dry hands, apply the Hand Scrub to the backs of each hand and thoroughly massage in from the wrists to the finger tips, focusing on areas that get most dry, such as knuckles and around the nails, rubbing the palms together allowing the product to melt into the skin. Then emulsify under some warm water and rinse it away.
Step 3: Treat Nails & Cuticles
Apply a generous amount of the Shea Nail & Cuticle Nourishing Oil to each fingertip. Thoroughly massage the oil into the nails, underneath the edge of the nail and the surrounding skin to stimulate blood flow and nail growth.
Step 4: Moisturise
Finally, follow up with the iconic Shea Butter Hand Cream, taking the opportunity to give yourself a well deserved mini hand massage and relax for a moment.
