L'OCCITANE Supports the Woodland Trust

This year, L’OCCITANE has collaborated directly with Woodland Trust to fund woodland preservation projects in the UK.
Over the Black Friday weekend, we will donate £1 per hand cream sold towards this wonderful cause. The gift of a tree gives back for generations; cleaning our air, purifying our water, providing shelter and shade for our wildlife. Let’s fight to protect biodiversity for future generations!

1 Hand Cream Sold = £1 Invested In Woodland Preservation in the UK

For Black Friday, as well as offering customers 20% off full size products online and in L’OCCITANE boutiques nationwide, we will be giving £1 from the sale of every hand cream sold from 24th - 27th November to the Woodland Trust.

With this investment, the Woodland Trust will protect ancient woodland, promote the restoration of damaged woodland, and plant native trees and woods.

OUR GOAL: To raise £40,000 to support the Woodland Trust in its mission to help UK trees and woodlands thrive.

Why Woodland Trust?

The Woodland Trust is UK's largest woodland conservation charity, and has planted over 50 million trees since 1972. Their two goals are, similarly to L’OCCITANE, two goals are, similarly to L’OCCITANE, preserving biodiversity, and restoring ecosystems through woodland preservation and tree planting.

Between 2016 and 2021, 15.3 million trees have been planted to lock up harmful carbon dioxide, provide cleaner air among many other benefits and create new habitats for wildlife and places for people to enjoy.

Additionally, over 19,000 hectares of ancient woodland have been committed to restoration to reverse years of decline, protect the ancient woodland that is left and provide the conditions for threatened native species and unique ecosystems to thrive once more.
